Map digitization is an ongoing project of the Missouri Historical Society.
In 2022-24, MHS received map digitization support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State. Thanks to IMLS support, over 170 digitized maps were uploaded to the MHS Collections Search. These maps depict a variety of dates, locations and topics.

If you are specifically looking for digitized maps, and you use the facet MAPS in the Missouri Historical Society's online Collections Search, your result will include thousands of individual pages within atlases.
If this is not what you want, use this search for for individual digitized maps that are not part of atlas volumes. Then, you can limit your search by decade or keyword.
Digitized atlas volumes from our collection are covered by other MHS LibGuides.
